Do you have roots in the Balkans or are you just passionate about Mediterranean and Balkan flavours and eager to learn new cooking skills? We regularly organize open and accommodate private cooking workshops in our workspace in Amsterdam.
About the workshops
During the workshops at INAT, you will learn how to make traditional and modern dishes with a Balkan state of mind. Expect comfort food to the max and a relaxing, homey atmosphere. From stretching yufka to rolling knoedels, from making broths to poaching apples, from no waste tips via delicious wines to not so serious chats - there is something for everyone.
Tamara guides you in following the recipes, encourages you to freestyle, and shares her knowledge of techniques and ingredients.
The workshops are always taking place in the weekends at our workspace in Amsterdam (Karperweg 41), unless explicitly stated otherwise. The workshops usually start at 14:00 - 15:00, last around 5-6 hours, depending on the menu, including drinks and dinner together.
The number of participants is between 9 and 16, both for open and private workshops.

End of summer, beginning of fall is the most glorious time of the year: the abundance and variety of flavourful vegetable is overwhelming but a Balkan mom knows her ways with it. From dried to pickled, from salads to stews, from dolma to strudel.
The centerpiece of the BIG BALKAN VEG workshop is šarena dolma - mixed stuffed vegetables - the classic of Bosnian comfort. Please take note that for the sake of the practicality, this workshop is not vegetarian! Check the full menu below and JOIN US!
